Devs United Games, the creative minds behind the Quest-exclusive sensation Real VR Fishing, have some exciting news for VR enthusiasts. They’re gearing up to make a splash by launching their beloved VR fishing experience on PC VR headsets next month.
Mark your calendars for early December, as that’s when Real VR Fishing will debut on SteamVR headsets. The game will mirror the Quest version’s pricing and gameplay, ensuring a seamless transition for players. Plus, all downloadable content, including the US West Coast DLC, US East Coast DLC, and both parts of the Japan DLC, will be available on Steam right from the get-go.
The core game itself is already packed with content, boasting 40 unique fishing spots and over 150 different fish species to reel in. However, when you dive into the individual DLC packs, you’ll unlock an additional 95 fishing locations and have the chance to catch more than 300 species of fish. It’s a fishing enthusiast’s dream come true.
Though the Quest version offers both solo play and four-player multiplayer, it’s worth noting that the PC version won’t support cross-play multiplayer between Quest, Pico, and PC VR platforms. Despite this, the Steam version promises some exciting features like built-in YouTube and web browsing, monthly updates, and options to customize your aquarium.
Real VR Fishing originally hooked Quest users back in late 2019, and it’s been reeling in fans ever since, becoming the platform’s top fishing game. With a stellar rating of 4.6 out of 5 from over 7,200 players, it’s no wonder the game’s popularity continues to soar.
If you’re eager to dive into this immersive fishing experience, you can go ahead and wishlist Real VR Fishing on Steam, preparing yourself for the early December release.
