Disney-Pixar’s WALL-E has recently been rated in Taiwan for both the PS4 and PS5, hinting at its potential arrival on the PlayStation Plus Premium platform soon. If the speculation holds true, WALL-E might make its debut on the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog this March 2025, joining a lineup of classic and modern games tailored for PS4 and PS5 users.
Each month, Sony curates a selection of free games for its PlayStation Plus subscribers, which are available across three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. Premium members, in particular, benefit from a treasure trove of classic titles from the PS1, PS2, and PSP eras, alongside cloud-streamed experiences from the PS3 and PS5 libraries. Notable recent additions include the PS2’s Dropship: United Peace Force and the beloved PSP rhythm game, Patapon 3.
As reported by Gematsu, a leak from the Taiwanese Ratings Board has revealed Disney-Pixar’s WALL-E for PS4 and PS5. Although it remains uncertain whether the PS2 or PSP variant of WALL-E will surface, only emulated versions of PS1, PS2, and PSP games like Disney-Pixar’s Up have been confirmed for the service thus far, not including the PS3 versions, which are available via streaming.
Fans are hopeful for the PS2 edition of WALL-E to be featured in the PlayStation Plus Premium collection, though Sony has yet to add any Disney-Pixar classics from the PS2 lineup. Given the popularity of titles like Up and Toy Story 3, there’s a strong belief that the PSP version of WALL-E will make it to the service instead. So far, PlayStation Plus limited its Disney selections to games like Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Expectations are high for Sony to unveil the upcoming PlayStation Plus Game and Classics Catalog by mid-March 2025. Meanwhile, the month’s complimentary game lineup for all subscribers is anticipated soon, likely on March 3. Titles like Payday 3, High on Life, and Pac-Man World Re-Pac are up for grabs until that date for subscribers at all levels on the PS4 and PS5 consoles.
PlayStation Plus offers a three-tier membership encompassing a host of gaming perks. The Premium tier not only provides the core benefits but also access to a vast Game Catalog, game trials, cloud streaming, and an expansive Classics Catalog. The Extra tier grants essential benefits along with the Game Catalog, while the Essential plan includes online multiplayer access and monthly game additions to enrich your collection.
