You now have the chance to scale the heights of Mount Olympus in Walkabout Mini Golf. This latest addition marks the 32nd course of the game, following the Viva Las Elvis course that launched in January. It’s a significant leap in size, much larger than last year’s Temple At Zerzura, according to Lucas Martell, the head of the studio.
Here’s how the developers officially describe it:
Perched high above the Aegean Sea, the revered domain of the gods and goddesses awaits. In this celestial arena, the Olympians convene to weave the destiny of humans—through an adventurous round of miniature golf. Navigate through elaborate temples, mythical settings, and tricky obstacles. But tread carefully: the Olympian Council is ever-watchful, ready to judge whether you’re deserving of triumph or fated to incur the wrath of the gods!
As you ascend Mount Olympus, you’ll pass by temples and make offerings at altars, each emblazoned with symbols representing iconic figures like Zeus, Apollo, and Artemis. We even had the privilege of joining Walkabout creator Lucas Martell on our most extensive tour to date, running 28 minutes packed with behind-the-scenes insights.

Recently, I had the pleasure of speaking with Mighty Coconut’s senior art director, Don Carson, for a detailed chat on the game’s creation process. He pointed out their goal to “over-deliver” by employing a layered design strategy that, over more than a year, sees teams rotating courses among themselves. The team, affectionately known as the Coconuts, has grown significantly to several dozen people.
Given that the Elvis course led to the most lucrative sales day in the game’s almost five-year history, one might wonder if players will flock back to Mount Olympus and further boost sales figures.
The game is available across all major headsets and also on iOS.
