Nintendo has just announced that tomorrow’s highly anticipated Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 presentation will last about an hour. Fans around the globe can set their alarms for 6 a.m. PT, 9 a.m. ET, 2 p.m. BST, or 3 p.m. CEST to catch the live stream.
Last month saw the official unveiling of the Nintendo Switch 2, which put an end to a whirlwind of speculation, supposed leaks, and fan theories surrounding Nintendo’s next-gen console. In a brief teaser video, the design of the console was unveiled, offering a sneak peek at a new Mario Kart game and confirming back compatibility with the games from the original Switch.
Nintendo has made it clear that the new console will support both physical and digital formats of Nintendo Switch games. However, they’ve issued a heads-up that some titles might not be fully compatible with or supported by the Switch 2.
The global release of the Nintendo Switch 2 is set for 2025, though they haven’t pinned down an exact date just yet. The excitement is building, and we’re all eager to see what surprises Nintendo has in store during tomorrow’s presentation.
