Almost a year has passed since the release of Asgard’s Wrath 2, and its latest Cosmic Event dives deep into the enduring legacy of Loki.
Since making its debut last December, Sanzaru Games has been keeping the VR action RPG fresh with regular updates known as Cosmic Events. These limited-time challenges, or Cosmic Objectives, demanded players to tackle tasks ranging from battling a vampiric plague to navigating the multiverse and confronting Surtur’s forces. Now, as the curtain falls on the final event, "The Trickster’s Legacy," players are once again pitted against the notorious Loki.
In this climactic chapter, you’re on a mission to mend various distorted realities. Your objectives involve venturing through ‘?’ doors scattered across the Uncharted Rifts, surviving treacherous trap rooms, conquering five divine trials within a single Uncharted Rift adventure, and eliminating Loki Anomalies from the overworld. Successfully completing these tasks will earn you the coveted Staff of the Trickster, replicas of the Ma’at Stones, Loki’s iconic horned helmet, along with new emotes, badges, and titles.
Though this is the final new event, it’s not quite the end of the Cosmic Events saga. Sanzaru Games has plans to replay each event from the start, kicking off with "Into the Multiverse," giving players another shot at those exclusive, time-sensitive rewards.
In addition, Asgard’s Wrath 2 introduces a new outfit that’s not bound by time restraints like the rewards from "The Trickster’s Legacy." This dinosaur-themed armor set, complete with a matching stone blade, is a Meta Quest+ exclusive, offering gear inspired by the island of Laramidia.
Right now, you can explore the mythical world of Asgard’s Wrath 2 on the Meta Quest platform, where adventure awaits at every turn.
