Resolution Games, well-known for their work on popular XR titles like Demeo and Racket Club, has just unveiled their latest project: Home Sports. This casual multi-sport VR game is making its debut exclusively on the Quest 3 and Quest 3S.
Launching next month on the Horizon Store, Home Sports brings a fun mix of five different social sports. Players can dive into games of pickleball, mini-golf, hockey, bowling, and badminton, all of which are sure to evoke the nostalgic charm of Wii Sports.
Whether you’re teaming up with pals in the same room (as long as both have a Quest 3 or Quest 3S), or challenging opponents online, the game supports both local and online multiplayer modes.
A standout feature of Home Sports is its adaptability. According to the developers, each sport is designed to work seamlessly in various play spaces, making it easy to jump into a game regardless of the size of your physical environment. You can enjoy the games fully in both virtual and mixed reality settings.
Tommy Palm, CEO of Resolution Games, shared his enthusiasm: “Mixed reality is reshaping the gaming landscape by merging the physical and digital realms to create incredible shared experiences. The timing of Home Sports couldn’t be better, as it arrives just in time for the holiday season. It’s a fantastic way to engage families and friends, welcoming everyone to participate, regardless of their skill level. Plus, it’s a great introduction to VR for newcomers.”
Home Sports is set to launch for Quest 3 and Quest 3S on December 11th, priced at $19.99. If you’re interested, you can add it to your wishlist on the Horizon Store now.
