Marvel Rivals is ready to shake things up with the introduction of the Clone Rumble mode on March 7. As Season 1: Eternal Night Falls draws to a close, players have been eager to see what’s next for the game that recently added The Fantastic Four to its cast of heroes.
Since its launch, Marvel Rivals has kept things fresh with new modes that inject unique twists into the gameplay. Remember Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival? It was chaos wrapped in frosty fun with six players competing to cover the map as Jeff the Land Shark. Clash of Dancing Lions introduced a soccer-style battle where teams, playing as Black Widow, Iron Fist, or Star-Lord, vied to score goals. Then there was Doom Match, an intense free-for-all set in the mysterious Sanctum Sanctorum where the goal was simple: rack up eliminations and emerge victorious.
This March, Marvel Rivals will add yet another intriguing layer with Clone Rumble. This mode pits two teams against each other, each side consisting of copies of a single hero. Strategy will be key, as teams must wisely select heroes to counter one another. The teaser showcasing twelve Mister Fantastics bouncing around promises a mix of chaos and hilarity players can look forward to.
In addition to the new mode, players can dive into Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure. This unique event, reminiscent of a board game, lets players roll dice to progress, collecting rewards along the way. Expect to grab Units, nameplates, emotes, and even a stylish Black Widow skin. While the event kicks off March 7, details on its duration haven’t been shared yet.
Those hunting for more freebies won’t be disappointed. Completing the second set of Midnight Features quests will unlock a new skin for Groot, among other rewards such as Units and Chrono Tokens. With new content rolling in and Season 2 on the horizon, the prospects for Marvel Rivals look incredibly promising.
