Following the much-anticipated Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 presentation scheduled for Wednesday, April 2nd, you can catch all the exciting updates on the next-gen console straight from the app.

Reflecting on the journey since 2011, Shigeru Miyamoto shares, "Nintendo Direct has been our way to bring you news right from the source. It’s grown into a major event that many look forward to, and for that, we thank you. While we’ll keep our Nintendo Direct shows going, we’re excited to enhance the experience with Nintendo Today! This app is a fresh way to deliver content, functioning like a daily calendar."

Miyamoto goes on to explain that starting with the Nintendo Direct focused on the Nintendo Switch 2 on April 2nd, the app will deliver updates about the new console every day right to its users.
