Our hunters, along with the trusty Expedition Team, find themselves exploring the newly unveiled locale: the Iceshard Cliffs. This frigid region, where fierce blizzards sweep through, is teeming with fascinating monsters. As the story unfolds, you’ll immerse yourself in this chilly wilderness.
You’ll encounter harsh blizzards and dense fog rolling through this unique area, revealing collapsed debris, and mysterious objects caught in the chilly winds.
The Cliffs are rich with life that has adapted to endure its severe environment.
Meet Rove, the Wayward Wudwud
In your icy escapades, you’ll run into Rove, an odd Wudwud far from its usual haunts.
Creatures of the Iceshard Cliffs
Hirabami – Leviathan
At Iceshard Cliffs, you’ll face the Hirabami, a sleek leviathan known for the sharp claws on its tail and a neck membrane that helps it catch the wind and float.
In our loaded trailer, a shocking scene shows a large monster ambushing a group of Hirabami.
Nerscylla – Temnoceran
Nerscylla is back! This Temnoceran is notorious for subduing its prey with a swift strike from its distinctive horn.

Begin your adventure early with pre-loads starting February 5, 2025. Both sessions will offer the same content, so try to jump in when you can!
OBT2 revisits the features from last November’s beta: from character creation, a captivating story trial, and of course, a thrilling Doshagma Hunt.
In OBT2, brave hunters have the chance to tangle with Gypceros, the cunning and poisonous Bird Wyvern. We’re delighted to see it making a comeback!
OBT2 also lets you confront Arkveld, our flagship beast, in a challenging advanced quest. Who’s ready for a hunt?
The Training Area is now at your fingertips in OBT2, letting you master various weapons. Please note, OBT2 doesn’t include all final weapon adjustments—these will be in the full game.
With OBT2, you can create Private Lobbies for exclusive hunting with friends, or opt for solo play with Online Single Player mode. And if you need a hand, why not fire an SOS Flare?
