The Support Virtual Agent is an AI-driven tool designed to assist Xbox players in addressing their support-related gaming issues more effectively. Starting today, select Xbox Insiders can explore this feature on support.xbox.com. The agent draws information from the website to assist with Xbox console and game support inquiries. If you’re an Xbox Insider in the US and have English set as your language of choice, you can start trying out the Support Virtual Agent now. Just log into your account that’s registered with the Xbox Insider Program and head over to support.xbox.com.
We greatly appreciate feedback from Xbox Insiders during this preview as it plays a crucial role in refining the Support Virtual Agent. As you interact, feel free to share your thoughts using the "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" buttons on each response, or simply click the “Give feedback” button at the bottom of the page to share more detailed insights.
Getting Started with Support Virtual Agent
As of today, if you’re an Xbox Insider, you’ll notice the Support Virtual Agent on the "Contact us" page of support.xbox.com. Use the account linked with your Xbox Insider Program registration, and you’ll find a new option to pose questions to the Support Virtual Agent.
Clicking “Ask a question” will open the Support Virtual Agent in a fresh browser window. You can engage with the agent using text or voice, and it will pull relevant information from support.xbox.com to help resolve your inquiries. If the agent can’t resolve your issue, you’ll have the option to connect with a live support agent within the available service hours of Xbox Support.
During this preview phase, you can also personalize your support experience. Simply click on the ellipsis menu icon to toggle between two different Support Virtual Agents.
